Terms of ServicePrivacy Policy

Terms of Service

Effective August 30, 2026

These terms are the agreement between DTF Station LLC (“we”, “us”) and the business that opens a Kova account (“you”, “your shop”). By creating an account or using Kova, you accept them.

1. What Kova is

Kova is production software for print shops. It takes in orders, arranges artwork onto gang sheets, generates print files, and tracks each garment through printing, pressing, packing and shipping. It is a tool your shop operates. We do not print anything, we do not handle your garments, and we are not a party to the orders your customers place with you.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate account information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for everything done under your shop’s accounts, including by your staff. Staff accounts carry roles (Owner, Manager, Floor staff) that limit what each person can reach; assigning them correctly is your responsibility.
  • Tell us promptly at support@kovaprints.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.

3. Your data and your customers’ data

Your data stays yours. Artwork, order records, customer details and everything else you put into Kova belong to you. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store that content, process it, render it into print files, and show it back to you and to the people you share it with.

You are responsible for having the rights to the artwork you upload and print, and for the lawfulness of the customer information you enter. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

You can export your orders, units, customers, quotes and activity log at any time from Settings, in a standard spreadsheet format, for as long as your account is open.

4. Plans, allowances and payment

Kova is sold as a monthly subscription. Current plans:

PlanPriceOrders per monthStaff accountsPrinters
Starter$49/mo30021
Growth$149/mo2,00063
Pro$349/mo10,0002010

What happens when you exceed your order allowance. We do not refuse or delete your orders. Orders past the monthly allowance are still received and stored in full, but they are held out of production until your plan covers them. Upgrading releases held orders automatically. Orders your customers have already paid for through Kova’s checkout or an approved quote are never held.

  • Fees are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A price change takes effect on your next renewal, and you may cancel before it applies.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend the account after notifying you. Suspension pauses access; it does not delete your data.

5. How long we keep your files

Customer artwork is kept for as long as your account is open. It cannot be recreated, and being able to reprint an old order is the point.

Rendered print files expire after 90 days once the sheet has been printed. They are derived files — the layout is stored — so if you ask for one again it is rebuilt automatically and identically. This keeps storage from growing without bound and does not reduce what you can reprint.

After an account is closed, we keep its data for 30 days so it can be recovered or exported, and then delete it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload or print artwork you do not have the rights to, or that infringes someone else’s trademark or copyright;
  • use Kova to produce unlawful material, or material promoting violence or hatred against people;
  • attempt to breach or probe our security, access another shop’s data, or disrupt the service for others;
  • resell or white-label Kova itself without our written agreement. Producing orders for your own clients under their brands is expressly permitted and is a normal use of the product.

We may suspend an account that is causing harm or breaking these rules. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

7. Printers, RIP software and the on-prem agent

Kova produces files for your printer and, if you run our on-premises agent, delivers them into your RIP’s hot folder. That agent runs on a computer you own and control. Your printer, your RIP software (such as NeoStampa), their drivers and their licences are yours to maintain. Printer capabilities such as maximum printable width come from the manufacturer and can change with a driver update; we publish the figures we have verified, and you remain responsible for confirming output on your own equipment before a production run.

8. Third-party services

Kova connects to services you choose — Shopify, WooCommerce, shipping carriers, blank suppliers, payment processing. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, pricing or decisions.

9. Availability

We work to keep Kova available and will give advance notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. If your operation depends on continuous access, tell us before you buy and we will be straight with you about what we can commit to.

10. Warranties and liability

Kova is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Kova is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, wasted film, garments, or other indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from artwork you printed, orders you fulfilled, or your breach of these terms.

11. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. We may end this agreement on 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you materially breach it. On termination your right to use Kova stops, and the retention periods in section 5 apply. Export your data before you close the account.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app, and the new terms apply from the date stated. Continuing to use Kova after that date means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, and both sides consent to that venue.
